About the Trust

Shri Kunj Bihari Radha Rani Charitable Trust

A registered charitable trust working from Shahdara, Delhi, built around a simple idea: service matters only when it turns into action.

Our Story

Shri Kunj Bihari Radha Rani Charitable Trust was set up in Shahdara, Delhi, and is registered under Trust Registration No. 2026/18/IV/416. We are still a young organisation, and we would rather say that plainly than pretend otherwise.

The trust grew out of a belief that service does not need to wait for scale. It needs people who show up and keep showing up. We started with the areas that felt most immediate to the community around us: a hot meal for someone who needs one, a tree planted and looked after, a yoga session for students who rarely get a proper introduction to it, and support for the cows that are part of daily life in our neighbourhood.

We are building this trust with volunteers, families and local institutions, one programme at a time, rather than announcing everything at once and figuring out the details later.

Our Mission

To serve the community around us through practical, local programmes in food, education, yoga, plantation, cow seva and community welfare, built on consistency rather than one-off events.

Our Vision

A Shahdara where food reaches people with dignity, where every planted sapling has someone watching over it, and where young people learn yoga and wellness as a habit, not an event.

What Guides Our Work

Seva

Service that puts the person in front of us first, whether that’s someone in a food queue or a tree that needs watering next week, not just this week.

Sanskar

Values passed on through example, not instruction — how we treat volunteers, how we treat the people we serve, and how we treat each other.

Samarpan

A willingness to commit beyond a single visit. A sapling, a student, a programme all need someone to stay involved after the first day.

Transparency

Clear information about how the trust is registered, how funds are used, and what we have and haven’t done yet.

A Word From Our Founder

“Service starts with compassion and means something only when it turns into action. We set up this trust to work for society through practical, local programmes. Everyone has something to give, whether it is time, knowledge, resources or a helping hand. I invite individuals, institutions and families to walk with us. Together, let us serve. Together, let us grow.”

How We Work

Six areas, each run by people who show up for it regularly.

Education

Support for children and families who want to learn, and awareness sessions in the community.

03

Yoga & Wellness

Group sessions that teach basic practice and help build a daily habit, starting in schools and colleges.

04

Plantation

Tree drives with students and volunteers, with follow-up care so saplings actually survive.

05

Cow Seva

Care and welfare of cows, supported by the community around us.

06

Community Welfare

Awareness programmes and local events that respond to what people around us actually need.

Be Part of This From the Beginning

We are a young trust, which means there’s still a lot of room to shape what this becomes. Volunteer with us, support a programme, or just come see what we’re doing.
